Tearless Giveaways

Today, during our PE lesson, the teachers, Pn Farah and Pn Sapura presented with our ALL A'S collar pins and called out the most improved students.

Congrats to them :)

unlike the Std 6 keychain giveaway, there were no tears.

There's going to be another like gathering in August.

i predict tears then.

the collar pins are oval, golden and has a Nike check on it :P

they're shiny and say Cempaka Schools,  All A's,  Class of 2011

no major exam is complete without tears. 

Today there was a blackout during lunch until.... 2.30 ish i think.

Supposedly, some guy in the IT fell on something and the electricity got cut, so says Jun Vinh.

when we got back to class, the electricity was still out but i was going to rain so it wasn't that hot.

My finger kind of grazed my swastika earring so it fell out.

i was looking for it in the dark. 

i have never looked for something small in the dark. 

it's kinda fun.

Ultra Dusty Disc Throwing!

This Thursday, like every Thursday, there was frisbee practice after school.

We gather at the field and do drills and play a few games.

Since the tournament is coming up, tournament go-ers and non go-ers are seperated.

Drills were done but the goers were doing this marking practice and we were playing something called "the box"

i am a non goer. 

it's a box. marked by cones. to score a point, throw it at your team mate while in the box.

very simple. very fun. also quite retarded to play because the box was small. 

someone got hit in the balls. hahaha.

it's been really reallyyyyy hot. yada yada global warming.

the field is bone dry because of it.

walking already causes a cloud of dust to billow up from the ground.

when we played the box, the box was  box of dust. 

visibility was down by a bit. 

it was so dry and dusty that when i ground my teeth together, i could feel sand in my mouth.

my hands were brown when we were done and when i wiped my eye on my white shirt, there was a brown patch.

who knew that sand and grass could be thaaaaat dusty. 

quite cool actually. 

i have a bruise on my forehead from yesterday.

it was when the disc bounced off my hand and nailed me near the hairline. 

PE is fun with frisbee. even though we're not actually supposed to play :\

the skin on my left little finger got all peel-y while playing. 

ow. blister. 

i sent Jun Vinh and Jack home today. 

parent-child relationships differ in each family.

i think Shaun and his dad are bestest friends or something like that.

when Qi Shaun was supposed to get in the car, his dad started to drive off without him while he was still walking to the car.

he stopped for Shaun to open the door and started moving again so he had to jump in while the car was still moving. 

it's alot funnier if you saw how it happened.

my dad did that to me once. fun la.

my parents  are my parents :P

quite serious but cool too.

my DS Lite came in the mail today :D

it's black and shiny. 

i don't have a cartridge yet. who wants to lend me one tomorrow so i can use it? 

i'll get some this weekend. i think. 

Shaun says to get Advanced Wars. 

it's supposedly un-finish-able, as said by the makers. i will prove them wrong >:D

mom got 2 bottles of perfume too.

Time of Talent

The Talentime and the Save the World campaign went down today in the school hall.

Jeans  and trees everywhere!

The talentime was short and meaningful, with the save the world theme and all.

Gabriel and Andrea FTW!! their duet was reallyyyy good.

Save the world. stop wasting water, reduce, reuse and recycle :)

there were 2 topical tests today.

Geo was ok.

the KH test had no images and when they were shown, they weren't in order as to what question i saw on the VLE.

so i tembaked the 9 questions i left out for when the images were screened. 

when i browsed through the questions and finally found the right one, there would be the next pic. 

yea. it wasn't fun.

Flames of War is gonna take Cheras by storm.

the Cheras Think-Con was supposed to be this weekend but it wasn't organized very well so it'll be soon. er or later.

the whole gang might be going as FOW representatives and we'll teach people how to play and stuff.

Think-Con D'sara was so fun. 

maybe this time, i'll get to paint that 15mm soldier >:D

i want some custom dice because they're awesome.

transport to Cheras would be awesome too!

Frisbee practice today was full up on PWNAGE!

the jerseys which smelled rank last week seem to have lost potency.

either because they're out in the open air once a week for about an hour or we're all getting used to the stench.

i find the latter fairly disturbing.

HURRAH for 3 day long weekends :)

Birthday of Dania.

I came early. at like 2.30.

and i tried to blow up balloons but i got really light headed so i went upstairs to play PS 2 with Iskandar.

all the people that came were me, Jane, Sarah, Clarissa, Louis, Qi Shaun, Ga Luoh, Azim, Ethian, Steffy, Irene, Veronika and Doris.  

there was this Nerf sucker dart gun which i carried around and shot people with.

Louis and Qi Shaun took the dart gun and fired them at each other. and me.

Louis shot me at the back of the neck so he kind of let me touch his abs for revenge.

they got them stuck to a glass panel over a door.. and the ceiling which has hilarious.

there were fedoras and other odd things to put on your head.

like those springy antennae with heart shapes and feathers.

i have ghey photos of Shaun in most of them.

messed about around the pool. i filled up a water gun with ice water >:)

i nearly kena a water balloon but it didn't burst upon impact. lucky.

there was a bucket of ice water which Irene poured on Dania.

Dania : I predict rain today *splash* and it's colddd!

Dania has a pool. and above the pool is a deck.

so it's pool, with one of the sides extended into a wall, which is extended to a decked floor.

Ga Luoh and Qi Shaun climbed up a few times.

by the time they were done, Ga Luoh had painful looking red marks on his chest and torso while Shaun's knee was bleeding.

Had dinner and listened to the best white rapper ever, Eminem.

me, Clare, Shaun and Ga Luoh were forced into Dania's pantry.

where it was pitch black with Irene in there and other random people with glow sticks.

we were going in there to "cleanse our souls"

we had to rub a plate. say some words and rub our faces after.

what we didn't know was that the plates were covered in burnt candle wick powder.

when we came out, our faces were all black. 

played wink murderer, Halo, hung around and went home.

alot more stuff went down today. 

so fun.

Dania's house is the bestest.

We Deserve a Holiday.

Study Skills ended yesterday.

study skills was probably very useful but i was so sleepy some of the time that it wasn't.

the times i AM sleeping Shaun doesn't poke me in the back and when i'm not, he does.

Joanna, Qq Ee and Zhi Yang found it funny to see me try and keep awake. 

what i did was opened by eyes really wide and stare at something.

yea. i only fell asleep.... twice. for a couple of minutes. which is awesome.

considering we had about 14 hours worth of lecturing in 3 days.

the buses were either really hot or had a leaking roof. 

and for the first day, there was only 1 bus and 2 vans so, the guys in the bus had to stand in the aisle.

Brian Ho fell. on someone. hahaha.

Kimberley sat with a certain someone during a couple of the bus rides back ;)

Our presentation was funny.

Bryan W had to do voiceovers and his lisp was really obvious.

but the best was Group 8, (A)Sexual Reproduction.

Dian Ping made kids all by himself XD

and it was cool tooooo.

when people tell you the same thing over and over again, you tend not to listen the second time around.

so i end up doodling. i'll scan the crap later.

i made the words Thompson Submachinegun look ghey with highlighters :)

and i tried to draw a cthulhu. but it looked like a bracken instead. 

i drew a sea monster that looked like a jellybean with arms. 

we got a biscuit we had to take care of for the 3 days . It used to be called "it" then i made a pun and called it BisquIT. 

it was later changed to Patrick.

Jane liked to open it and check on him alot.

i had a glue stick with no glue in it so Shaun named it Glueie.

he drew the phail whale and O.G.C on poor Glueie. 

The food was kind of decent. 

but the Friday lunch wasn't too appetizing so i bought chicken rice :D

i do not like laichee drinks because they look like 100 plus but then do a surprise bombing of ultra crappyness on your tongue.

the mashed potatoes were good though. 

and those samosa thingehs.

people on MSN and people in real life are different.

but some of them are the same. it's really strange.

they're a different person on the com. 

fascinating. but still kind of odd.

i'm still tired from study skills. wooh.

Drumroll please...

I present to you; the Vitagen Pyramid;
THE VITAMID!!!

Jude in a suit jacket says that the black background will make it stand out more, which it does!

My hair is in both the pics because i had to see what i was taking with photobooth.

The story behind the Vitamid is Qi Shaun buying 4 bottles, 1 of each flavour.

Talked about diarrhoea for awhile. Jude then thought of making a pyramid.

I bought 3 bottles, Jun Vinh bought 2 and we stole 1 more from someone else whom i don't remember.

it's all colour coordinated and awesome :)

we stacked it on a canteen table but we had no camera so Shaun and I brought them up.

a bottle fits surprisingly well between 2 fingers. 

Shaun is soooooo going to get severe diarrhoea because he had 'shroom soup with stuff he poured into it and the 4 bottles of Vitagen.

Today i got shockwaved alot by Louis, Shaun, Brandon S and Jude i think.

a shockwave is when someone puts their hand on your head and uses the other hand as a fist to hit it. 

i was trying to dodge Shaun's when Louis hit me. and then Brandon hit me.

yeah. there were alot of people so i couldn't run away and as the result of it, i got shockwaved multiple times.

i was walking back to class covering my head and Shaun got the left side of my head.

it doesn't hurt very much but it still hurts and who on earth likes getting hit on the head?

THE PERFORMING ARTS SHOWCASE was awesome.

it went swimmingly. 

it was really dark in the hall when i went in and i stuck my hands out and because of that, i think i slapped someone. 

The last PA concert ever D:

Sara did my makeup which was kind of alot today : foundation, eyeliner, mascara, blush and lip gloss.

my face felt like it was suffocating but it looked cooool.

Anyways, PA concerts are the fun.

Study Skills tomorrow @ Cheras until 6.30pm.

Last Day

today was the last day we had for Performing Arts Showcase practice.

the last i'll have ever. in school. for the rest of my life.

PA practice is fun. 

we won't have PA next year either, which is upsetting.

where is all the teen angst going to go once we've lost our outlet?  :P

the word is that all performers have to wear foundation and make up.

oh. joy. 

after the last run through, everyone sat in class.

Qi Shaun was locked out with his violin so he played The Entertainer.

he's half blind so i had to zooooom into the sheet he made me download.

such a happy song. it's so vaudeville. 

i tried to play his violin. 

G D C A E are the 5 notes i played. 

the E sounded crappy but the rest were pretty okay. 

we transcribed the Bryan song.

it goes to the tune of Yankee Doodle and involves children and STDs.

it was raining this morning and we had our study skills briefing.

the people in my group are Jane, Gao Jye, Aqief, Ramanathan, Erika and Jae Ying. 

i think that was all of them.

O2 Jam. heard of it?

we play it now. it's the new thing after Restaurant City.

i suck once more because i haven't played in years.

i must go practice :)

it's so different because i can play some of the classical songs on piano.
