oh really?

I am so 'meh' about that advert in the Star newspaper i saw a few days back.
i scanned it to preserve it from the ravages of time :D
I have to admit though, it's kinda funny :P
As one can plainly see, there are a couple redonkulous plagiarised versions of the iPhone and the Blackberry.
You can also see the 3 stripe check sign at the top right corner, meaning all that is M'sian made.
i'm not dissing the people who manufacture those things but come on, Blueberry?

if you haven't clicked the picture, under the made in M'sia symbol it says :
Buatan Malaysia. PILIHAN BIJAK

the pilihan bijak really is in uppercase.
Malaysia makes awesome stuff.
that up there is far from the Top 10 list, though.
don't be too upset, iPhone and Blackberry fans :)
i hope the government authorities don't come after me for this.

My piano got tuned yesterday.
I'm very jakun when it comes to the inside of my piano so i watched him tune it the entire time...
which was about 40 minutes.
i took pictures this time :D
yes, my camera sucks.
His name is Mr. Tan and he plays very well.
he makes everything sound epic with pedalling.
he's also really nice and tuned my piano up real' good.
i could hear the difference when playing afterwards.
if you want him to tune your piano because he's awesome and really thorough and nice i can give you his number.
it's RM80 .

Mr. Tan doing his job, which he seems to like.

the wood panels off my piano.

he uses this sprocket wrench thingy and pieces of sponge or something to put between the strings.

piano guts without flash.

Piano guts with flash.

My piano is an antique German piano which was assembled in Japan.
it's shined up to a matte polish.
it says Gershwin underneath the sheet music pop out rack thing.
and Mr. Tan says pianos from China are made of plywood and that they suck.

Apparently the plug that gives electricity to the heater wasn't in for who knows how long.
there was a risk of everything in my piano getting mouldy D:
the plug was in but it wasn't connected properly.
to everyone who has a piano, CHECK YOUR HEATER PLUG
because it's about a thousand to two thousand to replace mouldy keys :\

no one wants to waste 2k because of a disconnected plug.
also, i don't think many people want to buy a knock-off iPhone or a Blueberry
