All classes are very echo-ey, especially when the doors are closed and there are only 4 people in them.

I've always known that but it was seriously made prominent when Ju-Deh, Qi Shaun, Ga Luoh and I went into some tadika class.

Ga Luoh wanted to sing to us :)

he sang Mad World, that Aerosmith song...you know... i don't wanna clooooose my eeeeeyeees, and Lucky with Jude.

his Mad World was very pretty but sadly, he was no Adam Lambert.

I kind of ruined the moment when Ga Luoh was singing Mad World.

Actually, Shaun made me ruin the moment, so it's his fault.

when Ga Luoh was singing, he walked into my point of view and did this sideways shuffle moon-walk thing with his retarded face and arm movements.

Ga Luoh was oblivious. 

he knew i would laugh and ruin the moment. he said that's why he did it.

i went 'pppbbbbffttt' and started laughing but Ga Luoh, being the performer on a roll, tried to carry on. 

He couldn't because after that I was cursing at Shaun for making me kill the vibe and he was going "I knew you would burst out! I knew it!" 

but he was awesome while we were all serious and listen-ey.

Jude was lying down on top of some tables at the time.

Ga Luoh's Aerosmith also got killed by my infernal tendency to laugh at retarded things.

Qi Shaun was lip syncing and so was Jude. 

Shaun was all rapper/heavy metal rock star-ish and Jude's was very emotional and weepy. 

'twas very the 'tardy :P

have a dialogue : 

Jude : Sing Lucky by Jason Mraz!

GL : ok. But there's no girl...

Jude : ooh! I'll be Colbie Callait!!

he did this demure, sweet girly girl impression complete with body sway and fidgeting with his tie. 

he made his voice go 2 pitches higher too :P

The tadika class was a temporary karaoke hub for us. 

very funny lah. 

and Ga Luoh can sing real good but gets all nervous and sucky around many people. 

Swine flu, please leave now.

all the AC units were off and the class was suffering up until 12.20pm because then, we were stuck in the Bio Lab which has wondrous AIR CONDITIONING!

who doesn't love air con?

everyone gets cranky when hot and sweaty.

Heat makes me curse alot because i get upset.  

no one will concentrate in tropical heat.

even teachers are on egde.

Swine flu go away. 

ooh. the F3 math text book says that another word for deceleration is retardation.

actually, it's the other way around, another word for retardation is deceleration.

oh yes, retardation.

it's my new favourite word :D

i hope the AC is still on tomorrow.

History Alive

Day 3, the last day of History Alive!

arrived around 11am and stayed until about 10.45pm

spent a good 24 hours in Cineleisure this past couple  of days.

I present to you, the Russian Horde. 

this is a small horde.... around 45 standings.

Qi Shaun hasn't finished his Epic horde which has around 75 standings.

the actual term for it is infantry but horde sounds cooler. 

now remember, they all have 2 - 5 infantry members on 1 standing and they are all hand painted.

1 little infantry dude is only 15mm. 

the green patches are fake grass bits which are glued on later. 

i sooo want a horde but its alot of work.

Anyways, persuaded many people to come in.

i got a guy to ditch his girlfriend :P

he went in and the lady just walked on...

made them take surveys too.

alot of people thought they had to pay so eventually when i asked people in, i mentioned that it was completely free.

My success rate went up by alot after that.

the people were more sporting today than they were yesterday :\

Kimberley showed up around 1.45-ish.

got a cupcake with her, went to the pet store and got lime green manila card.

bought earrings :) and she got rings.

had meat balls at Ikea with Jun Vinh and Shaun.

spent like... an hour in Ikea. 

Talked about throwing up, Harold and Kumar and taking craps.

left eventually because people were listening in and giving us funny stares.

got Baskin Robbins with them too. 

Jun Vinh ate alot but Shaun ate more.

be amazed. this is what Shaun ate : 

• around 20 meatballs, his 15 and the ones i couldn't finish

• 2 servings of fries

• a salad

• 3 cups of pepsi

they were nice and walked slow today :D

I said : let's get some juuuuuuiiiicceeee! i wanna get some juice!

i then realize it sounds like "let's get some Jews"

Band of Brothers has been playing on the TV on the stage for the entirety of HA.

it's a WW2 series that used to play on HBO very long ago.

great series. 

tonight, around 9-ish, something very very very inappropriate played on the screen.

while i turned away to shield my eyes, i saw Datin Freida. 

she came around to that area the exact moment "it" started playing.

no one knew that "it" was in the show so.... yea.

Datin was freaked out. 

i'm scarred for life.

En. Herney was speechless. 

funny lah. but still very eeyer.

Amanda Koh saved me today :)

she came, though only for a little while.

most of the time today, i was the only volunteer for the Women section. 

it's after 1 and i'm still wide awake albeit very tired.

3 cups of pepsi does that to you, i guess. 

my cheeks hurt from all the forced smiling. 

flagging down random people is very tedious. 

History Alive was awesome i tell youu.

Day 1

History Alive, Day 2 actually but day 1 for me.

Arrived around 10 something, went to get Starbucks at 12-ish.

had lunch at 4 with Shu Anne, Andrea and Ashleigh.

Got a drink at 7 with Andrea, Shu Anne, Bryan W, Brandon W and Kuah.

O'Brien's makes very filling sandwiches :\

Met up with E-Way today. 

he's almost as tall as Qi Shaun now :O

yep. i got them to compare.

they're kinda the same height when Shaun slouches.

Talked to a whole lot of  random people today :)

In the morning, i helped Ms Tina paint costumes on boards with holes cut out for your face... 

i have no idea what they're called.

Helped make a word unscrambling game.

I also walked around asking people to come in a sandwich board for an hour or so.

There was this challenge where you have to dress up someone as a famous War icon.

Kuah volunteered to cross dress but there were no costumes so i made him Hitler instead.

tadaaa!

it's Hitler, asian version with a unobrow, a swastika on his forehead, blusher and eyebags. 

He also had a wig of pixie cut short curly brown hair but he took it off :P

En. Herney took pictures with his epic SLR.

i want those. 

There was a demo Flames of War game between Qi Shaun and his dad.

A complete game.

there was artillery, infantry and the air force. 

lasted for about maybe... 45 minutes.

duuude. 

Shaun whooped his dad's butt. 

learned alot from them, strategy wise.

it was an EPIC battle to the max in the beginning but then it went downhill for Shaun's dad later. 

by turn 5, it was all over for Shaun's dad. 

i'm going tomorrow too.

RAG day today and I was in the Claymation class!

Claymation is when you take stills of some random plasticine thing and "animate" it by adjusting the thing a little and taking a photo over and over again.

then you put it in some moviemaking software and there you have it :  

Claymation!

that up there is a very very awesome example.

Kimberley and Juanita were in the same group as me :)

I made a dude named Joe who was this colour with a red heart and a green mohawk.

he is walking down a road and finds a hole.

he looks into the hole and falls in.

he lands in prehistoric times, and has a wardrobe change. 

Joe now has dread lock-ish brown hair and a loin cloth/thong.

he gets up and squats next to a fire.

a giant dinosaur foot comes up and squashes him.

the dino lifts his foot up and you can see poor smushed Joe at the bottom of his foot.

the end. 

there were about 200 stills in our claymation thing.

Joe used to be so pretty. 

now he's just a pancake in some trash bag.

the dinosaur foot took 2 boxes of green plasticine. 

yes, major wastage.

Claymation is very very very fun and really straightforward!

everyone should try it least once in their lifetimes :)

Frisbee practice was hellish today.

we did the diamond drill for what seemed like a very very long time.

and the sun was extra scorch-y for some reason.

still very fun.

The Pinch of DOOM!

I am cleaning my inbox and re reading some of my e-mails.

this was in an email that was sent to me awhile back.

If someone grabs you, you can't beat them with strength but you can by out smarting them. If you are grabbed around the waist from behind, pinch the attacker either under the Arm (between the elbow and armpit) OR in the upper inner thigh VERY VERY HARD. One woman in a class this guy taught told him she used the underarm pinch on a guy who was trying to date rape her and was so upset she broke through the skin and tore out muscle strands - the guy needed stitches. Try pinching yourself in those places as hard as you can stand it - it hurts.

I've lovingly dubbed that up there the "Rapist Pinch" and have tried it out on numerous dudes.

i don't want to pinch anyone's upper inner thigh  D: 

so i just pinch their inner arm. 

Results vary.

it's scary when results vary  because it means it doesn't always work :\

Here's a list of the dudes that have let me Rapist Pinch them... 

Louis : it sort of hurt him

Ju-Deh : it hurt him a lot.

Qi Shaun : he felt nothing. 

Ga Luoh : i think he nearly cried.

Ashwin : he felt pain

Gabriel : he actually felt it :O

and Bryan fears the Rapist Pinch because i've done it to him many many times.

Gabriel, who feels no pain succumbed to the Rapist Pinch but i pinched Qi Shaun really reallyyy hard and he felt nothing.

I  then thought skinny people don't feel it but then Ga Luoh felt some major pain.

hmm. not very reliable. 

i would side with pepper spray and day.

it would be awesome if i managed to pinch someone until they needed stitches though :P

that or whack someone with an umbrella until they need a full body cast!

Freedom yo!

Last day of PMR extra classes were today.

We had Mr. Kumara Velu the epic math teacher for the last class.

he's always been long winded which is a good thing at times but today, we were let out pretty late.

He kept talking for awhile. it was torture.

i looked around the class and everyone was all fidgety. 

and we finally got released :D

off to Decanter.

went with Ju-Deh and Bryan.

Qi Shaun suddenly came along with his parents soon after we got a table.

was later joined by Mei Shin, Denice, Kaarishma and Alyssa Cheah.

Denice left before she got to order 'cause her mom came.

Sat on the couch set place at the second Decanter and Shaun's parents were at the window box thingy in the first one. 

His parents send food over. for free. which was really nice of them :) 

fried wanton and cake. 

Had a giant convo with lotsa gossip. 

Mei Shin is awesome. she just is. 

Jude hiding his face, his empty pie bowl and if you look hard enough, you can see some of Qi Shaun's knee. 

he's on a chair because there was no more couch space. 

he's too tall and it was hard for him to eat and it's not nice to sit on the floor.

Bryan : 3 and also the whipped cream.

he scraped the whipped cream off the plate with his fork.

but he has a legitimate excuse : He didn't eat for the whole day.

I am barely tall enough to be able to stand while on the monkey bars but only when i tiptoe.

Ju Deh is tall enough to slouch and touch the monkey bars.

a Facebook quiz says i'm going to grow another 3.75 inches. 

i hope it comes true. 

but, if i'm as tall as Ju-Deh it's the apocalypse. seriously.

What a way...

... to start off a day.

with a little bit of crazy, that's how :D

please take note that my post titles occasionally continue on into the post.

i promised to blog about some stuff to Andrea, Shu Anne and Ashleigh.

Anyway, this morning, i followed Shu Anne to her locker with Andrea.

i lost my clear file about 3 weeks ago and had false hope that it was sitting in a class somewhere.

i went into a Language class. L2 or L3 i think.

it's the class with the broken door which is off a hinge.

i went in and the first thing i saw at the back of the class was a black cat sitting on the grey table.

the other tables were folded up so when i went in, the cat went to hide amongst the table legs.

I quickly squeezed out the gap there was between the broken door and wall to call Andrea and Shu Anne to some see the cat.

Andrea made a mad dash to me like a deranged asylum escapee. 

I told her the door was broken but she pushed it open anyway which made a loud creaky/draggy noise which prolly scared the cat really bad.

Shu Anne was outside. 

Andrea couldn't see it so she got down on all fours and as soon as she saw it and knew that it wasn't going to come out, she started hissing at it.

i mean literally hissing at it.

that in turn made the cat panic and run out from under the tables, skid out the door and right to Shu Anne.

Upon seeing Shu Anne, it made this U-turn thing and skidded the other direction. 

When Shu Anne saw the cat, she went HOLY CRAP!

it was so funny. 

Andrea and I couldn't stop laughing and Shu Anne was a little traumatized. 

on to the next thing i promised to blog about : 

Ashleigh, mooching off people's food.

Ashleigh, Amanda Koh, Mithrra, Andrea, Shu Anne, Carmen and I walked to Decanter which was full so we went to eat at Secret Recipe.

Ash got a piece of chocolate mudcake and refused to share after her McDonald's Fillet-o-Fish, fries and coke.

It all started when she ate some of Carmen's pasta. 

It branched off to Mithrra's macadmia cake.

which went on to Amanda's gourmet pie.

Mithrra's cheese fries.

and then Shu Anne's fries.

Ashleigh kept stealing Amanda's food and she got angry :P 

she crept around Mithrra and when she wasn't looking, grabbed some fries and walked away.

She is proud of what she did, i think... which is why she asked me to blog about it.

on the walk back, the house directly next to the front gate left the small walkway door open.

and then, a dog came out.

it was a golden retriever. 

the others ditched me so i was outside for awhile petting some random person's dog.

OMG SO FUZZY! it was a well groomed dog man.

a nice thick coat and no matted fur * v * 

i love that dog. it's so fuzzeh and friendly. 

i love dogs.

too bad there wasn't a camera.
