Lazy Sunday.

i woke up around 10.30 and showered
then went to 1u.
i was supposed to meet Sarah, Ju-Deh and Danial (Iskandar) at the escelator in front of the cinema.
i was kinda late because i had brunch with my mom.
on the way there, i went to the Converse shop, which was my landmark thingy but walked around 50 metres in the wrong direction.
it looks the same on both sides :\

went to Yamaha.
i tried to play the drums. it's fun :)
i also had no purpose there other than stopping Sarah from being the only girl.
their sound proof rooms are not sound proof at all.
i could hear the drums from the other room while i was in there.
Danial has plasticine on his guitar.
he had no transport so he had to take a taxi.
the taxi guy was funny :P

after Danial left we went to get Burger King.
the last quarter of Sarah's whopper jr. fell on the floor.
and then, some person who was trying to get donations from us stepped on the bun.
she didn't say anything and was smiling. very creepy.
we only realized when we were leaving because it wasn't on the floor and i thought i had stepped on it....
i got the mozarella cheese sticks because they look nice in adverts.
they are not that nice. Jude had 1.
they're rubbery :\

waited with Sarah and Jude's for their parents to pick them up.
R.AGE was having a dodgeball tournament.
looked fairly violent.
i wandered around for 30 minutes because i had no idea as to where i had to meet my mom because she wasn't picking her phone up.
i wound up in MPH.
there was an illustrated history of Nazis book but it was shrink wrapped :\

pre trials are coming.
i must study.
drill papers are still raining hell down upon us! D:

Suspected H1N1

Yesterday, i was sick so i went home early.
I went over to my usual doctor but the clinic was closed so i went to a different one.
The doctor was nice and all but when i told her i had a fever, cough and a headache, she took out her masks.
yes plural. she wore 2 on purpose.
she gave me one, wrote me a letter and made me go to the Universiti Malaya hospital.
so i could get my throat scraped to test for H1N1.
the scraping would get cultured and tested. it sounds gross :P
i had to wear the mask she gave me. wtf man.

I waited in the hospital and went through a buttload of procedures.
Turns out, the doctor sent me to the hospital for no reason because she hadn't updated herself with the whole protocol of getting swine flu.
i didn't have swine flu obviously :\
I was stuck there for 4 and a half hours and had my blood tested.
i didn't even need to get my throat scraped.

i could have gone to SJMC and had it done in an hour for only.... a hundred maybe?
the elderly, children, handicapped people and government students get everything done for free.
since i'm a private school student, i had to pay RM 15
i demand equality! i half expected having to pay anyway :P

The blood test was cool.
The nurse told me to clench my fist and she started to suck some out.
when there was some suction going on she then told me to unclench and i saw my blood gush into the syringe.
it was cool.
i had to take it to get chopped and drop it into a box.
i got to play with my blood.
it was in a vial.
the idea of my blood outside my body in a tube in my hand bugged me a little.

blood test came back normal and i got my meds and went home.
i just saw the doctor and was fine.
meh. the whole ordeal just adds to my hospital exposure.

Rainy Day.

Today, it rained.
I'm usually happy when it rains but today, frisbee got cut short so meh.
We tried playing in the rain but it got really heavy after 2 minutes or so.
We managed to get past warmups, stamina training, McFloogan and the diamond drill.
not bad for about 40 minutes.
Life Saving got ruined too. There's always next week :)
sat around the canteen and link bridge instead.

I nearly decapitated Abby during a drill.
hahaha. she wasn't paying attention :P
I yelled her name and thank the lords that she didn't get nailed in the face.
it was a pretty fast one but luckily Abby tilted her head out of harm's way.
the head tilt was epic.
it was a waste of a good throw though.

frisbee had an MC Hammer theme today.
the lyrics are so fitting for frisbee.
'Stop, hammer time!' and 'can't touch this' are freakishly appropriate.

Louis high fived me today.
after whacking my hand, his hand hit the side of a chair.
he was groaning in pain for quite awhile.
he usually feels no pain. it was very funny :P

my glasses tan is getting worse.
i think it's kinda cool, like one of those drastic before-after picture pairs.
speaking of pictures, i want to show you mine and prolly Ju-Deh's favorite picture sequence.
Louis too!
and enlarging is very worth it :)

I love the 5th picture the most.
the tabby is awesome.
it's WTF face in it is soooooo cute and the persian is like I KEEEEL YOU!

da na na na na na na Can't touch this!

Chuck Norris

After school today Ju-Deh, Qi Shaun, Bryan and I were talking.
eventually, the topic went to Chuck Norris.
if you don't know who Chuck Norris is, you've been living under a rock.
he's like Michael Jackson but less dancing and more roundhouse kicks :P
Here are some awesome facts about Chuck Norris.

• When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.

• Chuck Norris' iPod came with a real charger instead of just a USB cord

• If you have five dollars and Chuck Norris has five dollars, Chuck Norris has more money than you.

• Chuck Norris can touch MC Hammer.

• Chuck Norris has never blinked in his entire life. Never.

• Chuck Norris eats transformer toys in vehicle mode and poos them out transformed into a robot.

• Helen Keller’s favorite color is Chuck Norris

• Chuck Norris got a perfect score on his SAT's, simply by writing Chuck Norris for every answer.

• The grass is always greener on the other side, unless Chuck Norris has been there. In that case the grass is most likely soaked in blood and tears.

• If you spell Chuck Norris in Scrabble, you win. Forever.

• Some people wear Superman pajamas. Superman wears Chuck Norris pajamas.

• Chuck Norris can set ants on fire with a magnifying glass. At night.

• Chuck Norris once kicked a horse in the chin. Its decendants are known today as Giraffes.

• Chuck Norris can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

you can look up a buttload more on the internet.

today was so random.
it was a good day today in the sense that nothing horrible has happened....
like getting 50 pages of homework from each subject.

During lunch, Jude and Bryan were having a Lady GaGa Tap Tap match.
we have discovered that putting hand sanitizer on the person playing will indeed distract them.
actually, very much so.
For 5 minutes, Jude and Bryan kept playing even though they were getting disturbed :P
in the end, Jude PWN'd Bryan by 2000 points.

I can't wait for the ASPCA visit on the 25th.
puppiessss. i'm coming!!!!!

Auditions + Epic Speeches

After school today, auditions for Fit were in the hall.
Frisbee ended on time but by the time I made it up there, it was kind of over.
Saw Jude and Ga Luoh perform again.
no comment :)
it's confidential.
sat in the hall for awhile with Jude, Sarah, Qi Shaun, Ga Luoh, Ju Xien and Junie.
went off to bind my KGT. it's thick.

Frisbee was good today.
my throws have improved alot but i still need more flick in my backhand.
my forehand has flick aplenty.
drills and a 15 minute durango game.
I bought Gatorade which was cold.
by 5, it was warm.
it wasn't even sunny in that spot.
Bah, global warming.

PA tomorrow but we have to go through with double BM to get to it.
We're supposed to write a monologue, memorize it and perform it in front of class.
I told Shaun about it.
the end product of telling him about anything to do with speeches is a ( you guessed it! ) speech.
But not just any speech, an Epic Speech
i think caffeine has drastic and rather adverse effects on him.
he wrote 3 long ones in like.... 10 minutes.
these are the monologues he wrote for me.
so entertaining :P

I don't think i'll be using them because it's kinda inappropriate to give an inspirational war briefing which wasn't written by me during theatre....
take time to read them.
they're pretty good, in an epic kind of way.

Monologue 1
Brothers and sisters of the Motherland, you have seen your families, friends and relatives slaughtered by the FACIST dogs that call themselves 'Liberators'. For too long we have lived in fear and doubt about our future. But in the time you , yes you have given me, I have rebuilt our army, our strength and courage.
With the faith you have in me, I will bring forth a new order, one with peace; while bringing an end to the tyranny of the facist dogs. No more shall we be living in the shadow of the traitors. We will bring these dogs to heel at our very borders. They will plead for forgiveness and all we shall give them is the TREATMENT that they have given us.
Ever since the invasion started, we are no longer considered humans by their respect, but animals and treated as such. So, now we will repay them with the kindness and forgiveness they have given us. Our forefathers fought for us and brought us this great nation but we are the ones to make history by preventing the hitlerites from taking it from us. We shall arise and take back what is rightfully ours and it is with that that I leave you, the defenders of the great nation we call home with a message ' kill or be killed'. Understand this message and no sooner will our nation be rid of this facist pests.
Monologue 2
Patriots, the new generation that you, the soldiers and our brothers in arms, allies have risen from years of torture by this war, I ask you to step forward and take arms in the greatest moment in history that will revolutionize the world as we know it.
From the past experiences with 9/11, we are considered weak and feeble by our enemies who laughed at us. No, I will not stand for it and neither will you, the sons of our forefathers who helped shape this society. We will go, yes, we will go to their countries and prove that our feeble and weak society has the courage to step up and fight back.
These are the people who beat you up in school, the kind that proclaims that they are the dominant alpha species. No, we will not sit and take this. The time has come my fellow people, be it whatever race, religion or cause we may believe in. The time has come to band together and rid this infestation and create a society far from fear, rage and violence. So i ask you, will you take my hand in creating a new world or leave it to rot and burn? the choice is yours, make it right!
Monologue 3
Comrades, this will mark the darkest days of our time. The streets are littered with fallen comrades, friends and even family members. We are living on the edge of destruction and I know the feeling in all of you. You feel ripe with anger, the blight of our happiness. But fear not, for we will act, we will let them know what they have done will not go unpunished, the sins of which they have committed will be corrected.
Soon, we will return to our motherland as heroes who stood in the face of death and walked in blood. Many of you in this room will not return that is no doubt, but nevertheless you have already shown something others could not. You have shown hope and faith to citizens who had given up on life. Remember our deaths will not go unnoticed, we will try at the very least to return the glory of our nation.
Time and time again, we have shown our endurance, our courage and most importantly our faith so, what makes this day different from the others? We are on the journey straight into hell and those who survive it live to tell their children about it. Prayers will not be answered today brothers, for god has set us out on our final journey. He will reward those who sacrificed and punish those who cower in fear.
The darkest days of our time will be lifted, a glimmer of hope will appear and finally victory. that is my message to you, use it well and god-speed brothers, god speed....

he couldn't write anymore because his laptop ran out of battery and now he has to wait until his dad comes back with his charger.
Shaun asked me to use those for PA while wearing a trench coat and a hat, behind the rostrum with a mic.
it would be more epic is he did it instead.
i'm tired. i'm going to sleep soon(er or later)

Godspeed, blog readers, Godspeed.

Echo

All classes are very echo-ey, especially when the doors are closed and there are only 4 people in them.
I've always known that but it was seriously made prominent when Ju-Deh, Qi Shaun, Ga Luoh and I went into some tadika class.
Ga Luoh wanted to sing to us :)
he sang Mad World, that Aerosmith song...you know... i don't wanna clooooose my eeeeeyeees, and Lucky with Jude.
his Mad World was very pretty but sadly, he was no Adam Lambert.

I kind of ruined the moment when Ga Luoh was singing Mad World.
Actually, Shaun made me ruin the moment, so it's his fault.
when Ga Luoh was singing, he walked into my point of view and did this sideways shuffle moon-walk thing with his retarded face and arm movements.
Ga Luoh was oblivious.
he knew i would laugh and ruin the moment. he said that's why he did it.
i went 'pppbbbbffttt' and started laughing but Ga Luoh, being the performer on a roll, tried to carry on.
He couldn't because after that I was cursing at Shaun for making me kill the vibe and he was going "I knew you would burst out! I knew it!"
but he was awesome while we were all serious and listen-ey.
Jude was lying down on top of some tables at the time.

Ga Luoh's Aerosmith also got killed by my infernal tendency to laugh at retarded things.
Qi Shaun was lip syncing and so was Jude.
Shaun was all rapper/heavy metal rock star-ish and Jude's was very emotional and weepy.
'twas very the 'tardy :P

have a dialogue :

Jude : Sing Lucky by Jason Mraz!
GL : ok. But there's no girl...
Jude : ooh! I'll be Colbie Callait!!

he did this demure, sweet girly girl impression complete with body sway and fidgeting with his tie.
he made his voice go 2 pitches higher too :P
The tadika class was a temporary karaoke hub for us.
very funny lah.
and Ga Luoh can sing real good but gets all nervous and sucky around many people.

Swine flu, please leave now.
all the AC units were off and the class was suffering up until 12.20pm because then, we were stuck in the Bio Lab which has wondrous AIR CONDITIONING!
who doesn't love air con?
everyone gets cranky when hot and sweaty.
Heat makes me curse alot because i get upset.
no one will concentrate in tropical heat.
even teachers are on egde.
Swine flu go away.

ooh. the F3 math text book says that another word for deceleration is retardation.
actually, it's the other way around, another word for retardation is deceleration.
oh yes, retardation.
it's my new favourite word :D

i hope the AC is still on tomorrow.
pleaseohpleaseohpleeeeease.

History Alive

Day 3, the last day of History Alive!
arrived around 11am and stayed until about 10.45pm
spent a good 24 hours in Cineleisure this past couple  of days.
Very fun :)
crappy phone pictures because i r lazy to take a camera around.

The convention site! from the top floor!
the orange blotch is the desert Flames of War terrain and the brown green blotch is some other terrain.
'L' shaped tables are where I spent most of my time, at the Women section.
there are alot of TVs.
10 i think.

I present to you, the Russian Horde.
this is a small horde.... around 45 standings.
Qi Shaun hasn't finished his Epic horde which has around 75 standings.
the actual term for it is infantry but horde sounds cooler.
now remember, they all have 2 - 5 infantry members on 1 standing and they are all hand painted.
1 little infantry dude is only 15mm.
the green patches are fake grass bits which are glued on later.
i sooo want a horde but its alot of work.

Anti tank gun platoon.

more of the horde...

some of the horde with submachine guns and flame throwers.

This is Komissar Shaunski, Shaun's version of himself as a Russian war commander.
yes, he came up with the name himself :P

my phone refused to focus on Shaunski and on the background instead D:

there was a father's day eating competition.
finish 5 carrot sandwiches and you win.
Guy on the left got 2nd place.
Mr. Wong being forced up  there.
Guy on the left got 3rd.

1st place went to the guy on the far left in the brown shirt.
they were all half choking xD

Time for an English fail!
maybe it was meant to rhyme. we shall never know :\

Speaking of fails...
Shaun and i were talking and the topic went to his paper bag idea.
Finally managed to try it out, thanks to McDonald's!
tore it in half at the back so it's more of a mask really.

it's Shaun in the Happy Face Bag!

Happy Face!
Qi Shaun : That was a major r-tard moment there.

Anyways, persuaded many people to come in.
i got a guy to ditch his girlfriend :P
he went in and the lady just walked on...
made them take surveys too.
alot of people thought they had to pay so eventually when i asked people in, i mentioned that it was completely free.
My success rate went up by alot after that.
the people were more sporting today than they were yesterday :\

Kimberley showed up around 1.45-ish.
got a cupcake with her, went to the pet store and got lime green manila card.
bought earrings :) and she got rings.

had meat balls at Ikea with Jun Vinh and Shaun.
spent like... an hour in Ikea.
Talked about throwing up, Harold and Kumar and taking craps.
left eventually because people were listening in and giving us funny stares.
got Baskin Robbins with them too.
Jun Vinh ate alot but Shaun ate more.
be amazed. this is what Shaun ate :

• around 20 meatballs, his 15 and the ones i couldn't finish
• 2 servings of fries
• a salad
• 3 cups of pepsi

they were nice and walked slow today :D
I said : let's get some juuuuuuiiiicceeee! i wanna get some juice!
Qi Shaun starts laughing.
i then realize it sounds like "let's get some Jews"
wait, wait, lemme get ma shotgun!
meh. war humour.

Band of Brothers has been playing on the TV on the stage for the entirety of HA.
it's a WW2 series that used to play on HBO very long ago.
great series.
tonight, around 9-ish, something very very very inappropriate played on the screen.
while i turned away to shield my eyes, i saw Datin Freida.
she came around to that area the exact moment "it" started playing.
no one knew that "it" was in the show so.... yea.
Datin was freaked out.
i'm scarred for life.
En. Herney was speechless.
funny lah. but still very eeyer.

Amanda Koh saved me today :)
she came, though only for a little while.
most of the time today, i was the only volunteer for the Women section.

it's after 1 and i'm still wide awake albeit very tired.
3 cups of pepsi does that to you, i guess.
my cheeks hurt from all the forced smiling.
flagging down random people is very tedious.
History Alive was awesome i tell youu.
